Baidu's return to Mainland as CDR earliest to be next month
May 31, 2018 (China Knowledge) - China's search engine giant, Baidu could be the first pilot company to issue CDRs in China, when it returns to list in China next month.
Baidu's chairman and CEO, Robin Li, said in an interview in March 3rd that his wish is always for Baidu to be able to list in China because the major users and markets were all in China. It is the best situation if the major shareholders are also in China, he added. In addition to Baidu, previous media reports said that Alibaba and JD.com will also return to China A-shares in June.
