Bentley China’s Q1 demand doubled, sales up 48% in 2020
Apr 27, 2021 (China Knowledge) - British vehicle maker Bentley had a record number of deliveries in China during 2020, despite Covid-19 pandemic. It delivered 2,800 vehicles in China, a 48% year-on-year increase. The strong trend is supported by an increase in sales figures on 2021 Q1, doubling as compared to 2020 Q1.
Bentley is looking to deliver their vehicles to tier-two and tier-three cities, which saw a demand in luxury cars. Bentley also has more than 40 dealerships in China but is looking to increase the number of dealerships to support the growing demand.
The British luxury carmaker is now looking to have a hybrid vehicle in every model line by 2023, with the goal of having all cars to be fully electric by 2030.
