Apr 26, 2023 (China Knowledge) - FTSE China A50 index falls 0.12% on opening to 12,959.22.

Of the 50 stocks in the index, Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine (600276) and S.F. Holding (002352) saw the largest increase of 0.88% and 0.55%, respectively.

Foshan Haitian Flavouring and Food (603288) and China Railway (601390) fell the most, dropping 5.02% and 2.65%, respectively.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 3,255.22, falling 0.3%, Shenzhen Component Index 11,101.18, down 0.43%. Over at HK, Hang Seng Index declined 0.5%, to open at 19,520.97.

Last night, the Dow Jones Index ended 1.02% lower, while the NASDAQ declined by 1.98%.
